Denise Mastromonaco, DO
Board-Certified Dermatologist
Dr. Denise Mastromonaco was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and raised in Bayonne, New Jersey. She graduated from Monmouth University with a B.S. in Biology. After college, she attended Des Moines University of Osteopathic Medicine from which she graduated with a DO degree.
Dr. Mastromonaco completed her medical internship at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York. After completing a family practice residency, she became board certified through the American College of Osteopathic Family Practitioners. She then completed her Dermatology training in 1999 and is a Certified Dermatologist by the Board of Certification in Dermatology, an affiliate of the American Board of Physician Specialists.
She has been practicing Dermatology for over 15 years and performs many skin exams each year. She is a passionate advocate for her patients and personalizes her treatment regimen for them. She has a special interest in the prevention and treatment of photo damage and skin cancers with the use of regular sunscreens, periodic skin exams, and educating patients she examines. She also enjoys performing Botox, providing her patients with a natural looking result. Denise enjoys reading and participating in conferences and workshops, as well as continuing her medical education and keeping abreast with the most recent developments in Dermatology.
